City of Crystal River Christmas Tree Lighting Festival

Crystal River kicks off the holiday season with the lighting of its official Christmas Tree at Little Springs Park. Come out for games, vendors, food, drinks, Santa, and more. Sat Dec 5, 2015, 4:30p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Little Springs Park, Crystal River, FL 34428.

Crystal River Christmas Parade

The annual Crystal River Christmas Parade is also on Saturday, Dec. 5th, starting at 6:00 p.m. The parade will travel south on US Highway 19 to Fort Island Trail. This year’s theme is “May the Force of Christmas Be With You.”

Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park Annual “Celebration of Lights”

The annual Celebration of Lights at the Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park will run six evenings from December 19 through Christmas Eve, and then again on December 26 for an after- Christmas party. The community is invited to come and enjoy Sebastian’s Winter Wonderland, a spectacular synchronized light and sound show. A variety of entertainment will be offered nightly, and refreshments will be available. This event is sponsored by the Friends of Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park, and the suggested donation is $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for children.

Brooksville “ChristKindl” Festival

Experience a cherished German and European tradition with international flair and local charm in downtown Brooksville. The festival will take place during the Brooksville Christmas Parade. There will be more than 120 food, arts and crafts, handmade treasures, and business vendors along Main Street. Plus, enjoy live music, wine, Marker 48 craft beer, and German pastries in the clubhouse. Pictures will be taken with Old World Santa!

38^th Annual Brookside Christmas Parade

The theme for this year’s festival annual holiday parade sponsored by the Brooksville Kiwanis Club is “A Tropical Christmas.” The fun starts on Dec. 12^th at 10 a.m. in downtown Brooksville.

Hernando County Symphony Orchestra “Deck The Halls” Holiday Concert

Join guest soloist Caitlyn George for a spectacular holiday program featuring favorite music of the season. Dec. 18 – 20 at Central High School Theater, Brooksville, FL 34613.
